Design concept of the emblem

In the middle of the emblem is the university's Rod of Asclepius, which represents the university's integration of Chinese and Western medicine. On the left side, the "stethoscope" indicates that the College of Medicine nurtures doctors and dentists who are skilled in both ethics and techniques, while on the right side, the "microscope" indicates the cultivation of research specialists in the field of medical biotechnology. The "shield" represents the joint efforts of physicians and researchers in fighting and treating diseases, and the "ribbon" holding the shield symbolizes the internationalization of the university and the name of the College of Medicine, as well as the glory of the university.
